Internship Opportunity: Kitchen/Cook Intern
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Kitchen/Cook Intern to join our esteemed culinary team in Lisbon, Portugal. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in preparing, cooking, and plating a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in the creation of new menu items and assist with daily specials.
- Support inventory management, including the receiving, storage, and proper handling of food products.
- Assist with mise en place and ensure that all food items are prepared in a timely manner.
- Contribute ideas during team meetings and actively engage in training sessions.
Job Requirements
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn about culinary arts.
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary education is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
