Job Description

As an Education / Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom activities and contribute to the academic success and personal development of students. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in preparing lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Monitoring student progress and behavior, addressing any challenges as they arise.
• Facilitating a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Helping with classroom management and promoting positive social interactions among students.
• Participating in school events, meetings, and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Personal Requirements

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is an asset.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Experience in educational settings or with children is preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing a variety of tasks and student needs.
• Relevant qualifications in Education or Child Development are a plus.
