Internship Opportunity: Social Science Intern (Guimarães, Portugal)

We are a highly reputable multinational corporation based in Guimarães, Portugal. We are currently searching for a passionate and highly motivated intern to join our dynamic Social Sciences team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in carrying out research across multiple areas of Social Science, including Sociology, Anthropology, and Political Science.
• Learn and apply statistical research techniques using SPSS, Stata or R.
• Participate in project meetings, contributing helpful and innovative ideas.
• Prepare and present progress reports, findings, and project-assigned tasks.
• Support in the development of analytical models designed to understand data, trends, and structures within the field.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Social Sciences or a related field.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Portuguese-language skills would be a plus.
• Basic understanding of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to take initiative.
