Job Vacancy: Spanish Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead Spanish teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
• Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
• Facilitate conversation practice and immersive activities in both classroom settings and informal environments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their language acquisition.
• Help create and maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
• Assist in the evaluation of student performance and the preparation of instructional materials.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills.

Job Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency) and strong English skills.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring languages is an asset.
• A degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students and teachers.
• Flexible and adaptable to different teaching methodologies and student needs.
