Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will support lead teachers in delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students at various proficiency levels. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and lesson plans.
• Facilitating small group activities and workshops to enhance language acquisition.
• Conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions to address individual student needs.
• Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
• Contributing to the development of extracurricular activities and language immersion events.

Job Requirements

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
