Job Description
As a Kitchen/Cook Intern, you will assist our culinary team in the following tasks:
- Preparation of ingredients including cleaning, chopping, and marinating.
- Supporting chefs in the execution of menu items, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stocking and labeling ingredients.
- Learning about recipe development and contributing ideas for daily specials.
- Participating in the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment for service.
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Personal Requirements
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn about diverse culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
