Internship Position: Film Studies Intern

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Film Studies Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of the film industry, particularly in research and production stages.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting research on film theories, trends, and notable filmmakers.
  • Support the production team in organizing and preparing for film shoots, including location scouting and script breakdown.
  • Collaborate with artists and scholars to develop creative concepts for projects.
  • Participate in editing and post-production processes, gaining insight into digital editing software.
  • Contribute to the creation of workshops and programs aimed at engaging the community in film education.
  • Attend and assist during film screenings, Q&A sessions, and other events.

Job Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Film Studies or related degree program.
  • Strong interest and understanding of film theory and history.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of editing software is a plus.
