Position: German Teaching Assistant

Tasks Description

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Assist the lead German instructor in delivering engaging language lessons.
• Provide individual and group assistance to students outside of class hours.
• Help in the preparation and administration of exams and student assessments.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individual learning plans for students struggling with the German language.
• Execute duties promoting cultural immersion such as organizing and supervising student outings and hosting language exchange events.
• Maintain student records and track progress reports.
• Contribute to the creation of an enthusiastic, supportive, and collaborative learning environment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in German Language Studies or a related field.
• Fluency in German with a proficient level of Italian. Knowledge of any other language will be a valuable addition.
• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a language school.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with various learning management systems.
