Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school located in the picturesque city of Turin, Italy. Our institution is committed to providing high-quality language education to learners of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a love for languages through interactive and engaging teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead instructors in planning and delivering English language lessons to diverse groups of students.
  • Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through various activities and exercises.
  • Facilitate conversation sessions and language practice groups to enhance conversational skills and confidence.
  • Help create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and assist in the assessment of their language skills.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including cultural events, workshops, and outings, to promote language immersion.
  • Maintain an organized and resourceful classroom environment, including updating learning materials and resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language (ESL) is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students of various backgrounds.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their language goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
