Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Turin, Italy. Our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where students thrive academically and socially.

Job Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
• Assist in classroom management by maintaining discipline and encouraging positive behavior among students.
• Provide individual or small group support to students with varying learning abilities and needs.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources, and organize classroom displays to create a stimulating learning environment.
• Help with administrative tasks, such as maintaining student records and preparing reports.
• Facilitate extracurricular activities, clubs, and events to promote student engagement and teamwork.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to foster improvement.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education.
• Fluency in English; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members.
• CPR and First Aid certification is desirable.
