Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the provision of an inspiring and thriving learning environment for our pupils. In this role, your responsibilities will include.

• Supporting the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons following the school’s curriculum.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of the children and young people at all times.
• Assisting with the management of students' behaviour, ensuring their wellbeing and keeping them motivated.
• Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of students’ responses to learning activities through observation and recording.
• Supporting the use of ICT in the classroom and developing student's competence and independence in the use.
• Carrying out administrative duties like preparing classroom resources and displays.
• Helping teachers with assessing students’ work and progression.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree in education or a related field.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably international.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with classroom teachers and other staff members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• A proven commitment to the well-being and success of all students.
