Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Education / Teaching Assistant to reinforce our teaching operations. The candidate will work in harmony with teachers to plan, develop, and administer our curriculum. This includes helping students learn to apply concepts and processes in new, relatable ways, giving individualized instruction to students who need more attention, and maintaining day-to-day classroom order. The assistant will also provide the necessary support measures to enhance the emotional and social well-being of the students. Lessons, assessments, and student progress will be logged for the sake of consistency and maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics
• Supporting students in assistant learning, group activities, or individual tasks
• Preparing instructional materials and classroom displays
• Supporting in administering tests, marking work and providing feedback to students
• Observing, recording and reporting student behavior and progress
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other relevant stakeholders in the student's education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Teacher / Education Assistant
• Proficiency in both Italian and English
• Sound knowledge of inclusive education practices and child development
• Knowledge of standard office software and school admin systems
• Superior communication and motivational skills
• Creativity, patience, flexibility and a good sense of humour
• Exceptional problem-solving and adaptability skills
