INTERN KITCHEN / COOK IN GENOA, ITALY

A world-renowned and leading company in the Food and Hospitality sector is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join the dynamic kitchen team at our Genoa location in Italy. Our company has a legendary reputation for providing exceptional culinary experiences, outstanding customer service, and inspirational atmosphere. Our restaurants have been graced by some of the most influential figures, tourists, and locals alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This internship will immerse you in a vibrantly intense, fast-paced, and distinctly Italian culinary world. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assisting our world-class chefs in preparing various Italian dishes and international cuisines.
• Maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Helping in stock management and placing orders to suppliers.
• Participating in menu planning alongside our diverse culinary team.
• Acquiring knowledge about local sourcing and understanding of sustainable practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for Italian cooking, are eager to learn, adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments. Moreover:

• Currently enrolled in culinary school or relevant field of study.
• Understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
• Fluency in English and basic knowledge of Italian is preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to work well in a team and open to constructive criticism.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Italy.
