Position: Reception / Reservations Intern

Location: Bologna, Italy

Tasks Description

• Assist in managing reservations through our hotel management system and respond to guest inquiries via phone and email.
• Welcome guests upon arrival, provide exceptional customer service, and manage the check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and address any immediate guest needs.
• Prepare daily reports and assist in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and billing.
• Participate in daily briefings to assist in sharing key information amongst staff and ensuring proper knowledge of hotel services, offerings, and local attractions.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Italian is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of hotel management software is an asset.
