About the company 

Our partner is a company who realizes some search and tests new technologies on solar energy, to make a better world and more sustainable. They are seeking an intern who can help them! Gain hands-on experience in designing, installing, and maintaining solar energy systems. Assist in site assessments, energy modelling, system optimization, and performance analysis.

Main tasks 

• Assisting with the design, planning, and implementation of solar energy projects;
• Performing technical analysis, calculations, and simulations to evaluate the performance and efficiency of solar energy systems;
• Collecting and analyzing data related to solar energy systems, including solar irradiation data, system performance data, and energy production data;
• Assisting with the monitoring and maintenance of solar energy systems, including conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper functioning of the equipment;
•  Assisting in research activities related to solar energy technologies, materials, and system design;
• Assisting in preparing reports, documentation, and technical specifications related to solar energy projects;
• Collaborating with team members, engineers, and project managers to ensure effective coordination and communication within the project;

Profile

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, renewable energy, electrical engineering or a related field

Requirements:

• Familiarity with solar energy systems, photovoltaic (PV) technology, energy conversion, electrical circuits, and power electronics;
• Proficiency in relevant software tools used in solar energy engineering, such as simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, PVSol), CAD software, and data analysis tools;
• Experience with solar energy systems, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting;
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with team members, documenting findings, and presenting ideas;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are important for identifying technical issues, optimizing system performance, and proposing innovative solutions in solar energy engineering;
