INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: RECEPTION/RESERVATIONS - PARIS, FRANCE

A highly-acclaimed multinational company with an established reputation of excellence operating globally is offering a unique opportunity for an internship in Reception/Reservations in our Paris branch. Our company has strong roots in France and has been facilitating vital local and international transactions for decades.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Reception/Reservations Intern, you will form an integral part of our team. Your assignments champion the interface between the company and its clients. Duties will encompass comprehensive areas of our operations; they include but are not limited to:

• Managing front office operations in accordance with company standards.
• Conveying a professional image of the company through high-quality client service.
• Undertaking reservation tasks, managing client inquiries and bookings, and maintaining a robust system for efficient workflow.
• Collaborating with diverse teams to enhance operational efficacy, and participating in frequent company planning and strategy meetings.
• Assisting in client communication to ensure satisfaction, manage complaints and facilitate relevant feedback to respective teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a degree/diploma in hospitality, business administration or related fields or must be in an ongoing educational program of a similar nature.
• Effective communication skills in both French and English (written and verbal) are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, and an eagerness to learn.
• Experience in prototypical office software and also in reservation software systems is appreciated, but not requisite. Training will be provided.
