Paid Teaching Assistant Internship in France

Our collaborator is an English education management company based in Paris, France. We work predominantly with primary and secondary schools and businesses around France to offer our dynamic style of language learning to all ages. We are looking for language assistants to give French pupils a true, immersive experience of the English language. Through this program, our aim is to maximise English comprehension by teaching non-linguistic subjects.

Tarefas

• One-week training either face to face or online depending on your placement.
• Teaching 24 hours a week, along with 11 hours of assisted preparation in one of our partner schools in France, teaching certain subjects, such as art, sport and science to pupils aged from 3-11 years old.
• Weekly training sessions with pedagogical manager.
• Helping staff with the supervision of pupils during non-class hours.
• Weekly phone calls with your supervisor to discuss concerns and evaluate your progress.

Requisitos

• Native or excellent English language level.
• Good basis in the French language.
• You enjoy working with/being around kids (previous experience working with children is preferred, but not mandatory).
• You are independent and positive and have a vibrant and energetic personality.
• Criminal records is demanded.

Condições

• Help with the visa process if it is needed.
• This is a paid placement based on the French internship wage: 4,35 euros per placement hour.
• 35h per week.
• As of now they have the following locations:
• Macon (primary school).
• Macon (middle school).
• Narbonne (primary school).
• Dunkerque (primary school) – two spots, the placement is shorter, till mid-April.
• Thonon-les-Bains (primary school).
• Arques (primary school, this one from end of January 26/01 till 04/07).
