Film Studies Internship Opportunity in Sofia, Bulgaria

A leading film production company in Sofia, Bulgaria is seeking a motivated and passionate Film Studies intern. This opportunity will provide the selected intern with a chance to grow, learn, and contribute to various stages of the film creation process in a multicultural and dynamic environment.

Job Description

The Film Studies Intern will be responsible for assisting in a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Helping with script development and storyboarding.
• Supporting with casting and coordinating auditions.
• Assisting on set during the production phase.
• Lending a hand in post-production work, such as editing, sound design, and special effects.
• Helping organize and execute promotional events and premieres.
• Conducting research and providing insights on current trends in the film industry.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Film Studies or similar degree. The ideal candidate would possess the following:

• Understanding of both technical and creative aspects of film making.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Bulgarian language would be an advantage.

Personal Requirements

The selected intern must be enthusiastic, proactive and have a genuine passion for film making and the creative arts.
