Job Description

Our collaborator is the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family's agency for Erasmus+ sponsored mobility. As the largest Erasmus+ agency in Germany, they organize and fund learning opportunities abroad for around 750 trainees/apprentices and vocational training professionals annually.

Since 2005, the organization has been designing and organizing stays abroad financed by Erasmus+ grants for over 750 trainees and vocational training personnel annually from its location in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. This establishes them as the largest provider of Erasmus+ Mobility in Berlin and Germany. Vocational training participants engage in various learning formats abroad for durations ranging from 1 to 52 weeks.

As an addition to their team, they are seeking a coordinator who is passionate about Europe and education, holding a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications.

Tasks

  • Contact work with participants and communication with our international partners 
  • The entire spectrum of classic office and administrative tasks 
  • Preparation, support and Durchführen of events 
  • Coordination of stays abroad, including travel arrangements 
  • Management of data bases and documentation of the work-flow 
  • Supporting the GoEurope management (e.g. helping with budget planning) 
  • Input for improving the digital working environment and optimizing flow of information/communication

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of the German language (you would receive intensive training to improve your German) 
  • Good command of English (at least level B1) 
  • Knowledge of other languages ​​not required, but highly desired
  • Experienced in using of MS Office applications 
  • Experience in project work 
  • Flexibility and resilience 
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently

Availablity and hours

Start date: June or July 2024
Full-time position: 40 hours/week
Schedule: From Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm. This could be a bit flexible.
