Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Education/Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff in enhancing student learning experiences. The successful candidate will assist in classroom management, prepare educational materials, and provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs. You will help implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive class environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Support individual students and small groups to target specific learning needs.
  • Help maintain an orderly and productive classroom environment.
  • Prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons.
  • Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and contribute to student reports.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including attendance and grading.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for education.
