Job Description

The Education / Teaching Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons, materials, and learning resources.
• Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons, helping to facilitate student learning and engagement.
• Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support.
• Monitoring student progress and behavior, reporting observations to the teaching staff.
• Preparing classroom displays and organizing classroom activities.
• Helping to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Personal Requirements

• A passion for education and a genuine desire to support student learning.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with teachers and staff.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic classroom environment.
• A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred.
