Tasks and Responsibilities

The intern will be expected to:

• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including prep work, cooking, and presentation of the dishes under the guidance of the head chefs
• Learn and adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in the optimal utilization of kitchen resources and minimize wastage
• Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the continual improvement of kitchen operations
• Learn and maintain the high standards of food preparation and presentation as per the company's standards

Job Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts program or a related field
• Demonstrable passion for cooking with a desire to learn and grow
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy loads as needed
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
