The Role

The kitchen assistant/cook intern will be responsible for supporting our professional culinary team in a variety of tasks. Daily activities will include:

• Prepping fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
• Cooking and preparing high-quality dishes according to our standard recipes.
• Helping the kitchen staff in maintaining hygiene protocols.
• Contributing creativity and ideas for menu development and promotions.
• Working collaboratively with the team to deliver impeccable service.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should:

• Be pursuing or have finished a relevant degree in culinary arts/cookery/hospitality management.
• Have a keen eye for details and a strong passion for food.
• Possess basic knowledge of cooking information, preparing standard recipes, and menu development.
• Exhibit clear communication, teamwork and time management skills.
• Physically capable for a demanding kitchen environment, which includes bending, lifting and standing for long hours.
