At Šolski centre Krško–Sevnica, we were looking for a reliable partner capable of managing a complex, multi-cohort VET mobility program in Spain. Our objective was not only to place students in internships, but to ensure a well-structured, meaningful experience aligned with vocational learning outcomes and the realities of the European labour market.

Together with Piktalent, we implemented a comprehensive mobility program in Seville for three different cohorts specialising in IT, Mechanics, and Hairdressing. From the very beginning, the coordination was professional, clear, and efficient. Spain Internship took care of the entire process: identifying suitable host companies, organising accommodation for both students and accompanying teachers, and ensuring smooth on-site logistics.

Over the course of the program, more than 20 students completed two-week internships in Spanish companies related to their fields of study. The placements were well matched to each profile, allowing students to apply their technical knowledge in a real working environment while developing soft skills such as adaptability, communication, and teamwork.

Beyond the internships themselves, the cultural integration component in Seville played a key role. Students were immersed in the local context, gaining exposure to Spanish workplace culture and daily professional routines. This deep immersion helped them grow not only as future professionals but also as independent, confident young adults.

The students returned with increased professional confidence, practical experience, and a clearer understanding of their future career paths.
